Ants are social insects that live in colonies located in soil or structures. The biology and habits of each ant species are different, so control methods may vary slightly with each species.

Our basic treatment procedure consists of spraying a low-toxic insecticide barrier around the exterior foundation walls and applying ant bait gel to cracks and crevices in the interior areas where ants are found.

Our basic treatment procedure consists of either spraying the cabinets and baseboards or baiting the areas of activity inside the kitchen and bathroom. We recommend spraying the interior in places with heavy infestations, but the tenant must be prepared for the treatment and be prepared to stay out of the unit for 4 hours.

Stinging Insects

Bees, wasps, and hornets generally do not sting unless handled, disturbed, threatened, or harmed.

Our experienced pest management technicians will use an a low-toxicity residual insecticide and remove the nest, if it is an easily accessible area.

If there is a nest in your wall void, make sure the colony is eliminated first before sealing any possible entry points because these stinging insects will come into the living space if they don’t have another way out.

Honey bees are beneficial; therefore, if they are encountered in or around a structure and do not impose an immediate threat, a local bee keeper should be contacted to remove the colony alive, if possible.
